A. Yes, you can. But you need to purchase either Apple’s Universal Dock – in Australia, it’ll set you back $69 – or grab hold of the Apple Component AV Cable or Apple Composite AV Cable (this is the cheaper option but you don’t get the remote).
The iPhone only supports a video frame size of up to 640×480-pixels (VGA) so it’ll look not quite as good as DVD – but if you already have a stack of videos on your iPhone you want to share on a larger screen, you can do it straight from the phone.
All you need is the right cable or dock.
If you’re ready to connect it into your data projector, the composite AV cable is likely to be your best bet – just don’t expect Blu-ray video quality as the maximum video frame size and the composite video connection aren’t that good.
