LCD monitor vendor Viewsonic has released what it claims to be the world’s first 27-inch LCD monitor with a response time of just one millisecond (1ms).
The VX2739wm features built-in DVI, VGA and HDMI inputs with 1080p (1920×1080-pixel) resolution. The monitor was released in the rest of the world in April but is now available in Australia and New Zealand.
It claims a dynamic contrast ratio (DCR) of 100,000:1 as well as an eco-mode to reduce power consumption by up to 40%.
The unit comes with a built-in four-port USB hub plus two two-watt speakers.
The screen will sell for $799 in Australia and $999 in New Zealand and should be available by the end of June.
