Korean electronics giant Samsung has release its latest range of multimedia notebooks.

Called the Q-series, it comes in three sized models – the top-drawer Q530, the mid-range Q430 and the more portable Q330.

The Q530 comes with a 15.6-inch widescreen LED-backlit LCD panel while the Q430 is said to have all the major features of the Q530 except the LCD panel with the Q430 featuring a smaller 14-inch high-definition LED-backlit model and weighing in at 2.09kgs.

Both models are powered by Nvidia’s GeForce GT 330M graphics with 1GB of dedicated memory.

The small Q330 is a 13.3-inch widescreen LED panel-based model weighing in at 1.97kgs. It features dual graphics options, based around Intel GMA HD integrated chipset graphics and Nvidia’s GeForce 310M. Samsung says the Q330 with this dual graphics option is capable of up to seven hours battery life (based on a five-cell 5900mAh Lithium-ion battery).

No details on processor or other hardware have been release as yet but the Q-series is expected to be available globally this month.
