Australian on-line tech retailer Kogan has released a new range of LED TVs and at the same time, taken a swipe at its giant rival Harvey Norman.

The new range includes models from 19 to 55-inch with all new models between 19 and 26-inches able to pause live TV as well as record TV shows straight to USB flash drive or external hard drive. The 19, 22 and 24-inch models also run from 12VDC power source so can be used in the car, caravan or boat.

In recent times, Kogan founder Ruslan Kogan has been taking a swipe at some of his bigger rivals and again ripped into Harvey Norman for its TV pricing. “Gerry Harvey thinks scribbling some pretend numbers on a piece of paper means he’s won the price war? Think again,” Kogan said in a press release.

The claims was based on Kogan’s pricing for its 22-inch LED TV being $339 up against the cheapest Harvey Norman price for the same size of TV at $649. The two retailers have engaged in a sellers’ quarrel over the last month over TV pricing and quality.
