US computing giant Dell has decided business-class printing is an under-resourced market with news the company has today launched eight new colour laser-grade printers aimed at the small to medium business (SMB) market.
Dell has announced four new LED colour printers – the entry-level 1250c, what it claims is the world’s smallest business-grade colour A4 printer. Dell says its faster than HP’s Colour LaserJet CP1215 and 10% smaller than Samsung’s CLP315/315W.
The 1350cnw is Dell’s new lower-mid-range model that packs in wired and wireless network connectivity with 15/12ppm (colour/mono) print speeds. The 1355cn/w is the world’s smallest multi-function colour unit that prints, copies, scans and faxes.
At the upper end of the scale, the 2150cn/cdn models give workgroup users the option of duplex printing and the 2155cd/cdn units are multi-function models with optional duplexing.
The 1250c and 1350cnw are available for order today at $AUD319 and $AUD449 respectively. The 2150cn/cdn is available for order today at $AUD579 and $AUD649, respectively. The 2155cn/cdn is available for order today at $AUD1049 and $AUD1119, respectively. The 1355cn/w will be available for order mid-November.
