ibenxWe’ve just look at the Magic Media i4 but there’s a growing breed of portable PSP-like gamepads loaded with Android and coming to a gaming session near you.

The latest and also one of the largest is the new ibenX GamePad.

With its seven-inch form factor, the GamePad packs in a Nexus 7-like 1280×800-pixel resolution in-plane switching (I-PS) display panel but is powered by the new AllWinner A31 quad-core Cortex A7 CPU. With gaming graphics courtesy of a PowerVR SGX 544 GPU (the same core said to be seen in the upcoming Galaxy S4 smartphone), it should have quite decent gaming prowess.

It’ll come with Jelly Bean (Android 4.1 operating system), 5MP rear/0.3MP front cameras and 1GB of RAM.

While we know little about the build quality, the specs are better than some gamepads we’ve seen so far and ahead of the Archos Gamepad with its RK3066 dual-core Cortex A9 CPU and 1024×600-pixel screen resolution.
