Brand-new version of VistaAeroSwitch is now even easier to use. I’ve picked up on some feedback from users of the original VistaAeroSwitch and made a change to the way the tool works, which will hopefully make it even easier to use. As a result of the changes, it was worthwhile making this a completely new version, hence the “2.0”. The way VAS now works is that you install it, run the application and then minimise it. The system specifications remain for those who are interested but when you minimise the tool, you’ll see the Techlogg.com logo in your icon tray. Right-clicking on the icon brings up the app again. However, we’ve removed the on/off buttons in the app and replace them with a toggle hotkey instead. Pressing <windows> key plus the <A> key will toggle Windows Vista’s Aero’s state, basically if it was off, it’ll turn on and vice versa. Turning Aero off happens in about a second however turning
